Ok, well today one of my friends was freaking out because a bug was moving toward her, so she got up to try and kill it. A few of my other friends tried to stop her and they were all yelling and one of them said "Sam you're a heartless killer". When she killed the bug a different friend said "Don't cry Alex." So I rolled my eyes got up and said "You know I find it very hypocritical that you called Sam a heartless killer," and walked away. And Now I feel horrible, but I'm just so tired of people saying "don't cry" when meat is nearby or something. It's just cheap laughs and I can't pretend that I find it funny anymore so I end up saying something really mean to people who I love. It's hard enough seeing them eat meat but when they start mocking you about something that you feel so passionate about it makes me really upset. (even though the don't cry thing is only a minor case- I've had "Tasty Tasty Murder before") Now I don't know what to do. Should I just tell them that I dislike it?
The problem with that is that they won't see it as a big deal because they don't know how often I have to deal with it...

i cant totally empathize with u. i had the same experience :[

verbal arguments arent as effective as pictures or films about story of veganism. u could show them the film "earthlings" or pictures from petas website.
